In January–February 2024, Vladimir Kordiukov participated in Embrace of Madness, an online and virtual group exhibition curated by Artsin Square. The fifth exhibition in the platform’s online programme, it brought together 33 selected artists working across different media. Kordiukov was included among the participating artists with the work Nude Sitting (2008).
Nude Sitting is a pastel on paper measuring 56 × 60 cm. Created in 2008, the work presents a seated nude figure through Kordiukov’s characteristic treatment of simplified form and colour. The work belongs to his figurative practice, in which the human body appears as a subject for exploring proportion, contour and the structure of the image.
The exhibition ran from 8 January to 8 February 2024 on the Artsin Square platform. Kordiukov’s participation is recorded in the platform’s official exhibition archive and in his selected exhibition history.
