Kordallery
Kordallery is a web archive dedicated to the artistic legacy of Vladimir Kordiukov. It brings together his artworks and supporting archival material, creating a structured digital record of his practice. The platform provides access to different stages of his career while tracing the development of his visual language.
The archive documents Kordiukov’s work across painting and batik, including examples of his graphic practice. Particular attention is given to his recurring subjects and technical experiments, as well as the relationship between figurative tradition and modernist form. Each artwork is presented within the wider context of his artistic development rather than as an isolated object.
Kordallery preserves Kordiukov’s legacy and makes it accessible to researchers, collectors and wider audiences. By gathering material from different sources within a single platform, the archive supports further study and offers a lasting point of reference for his work.
Vladimir Kordiukov (1953-2009)
Vladimir Kordiukov (1953–2009) was a Soviet interdisciplinary artist whose practice encompassed jewellery, painting, graphic art and sculpture. Influenced by postmodernism, Suprematism and Cubism, he combined varied materials and techniques, exploring form, colour and relief.
Kordiukov participated in more than 100 international exhibitions and became known for his experimental approach to materials. His works are held in museums and private collections worldwide, including the State Russian Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Seoul Museum of Art. A significant part of his artistic legacy is preserved in Berlin.

The legacy of Vladimir Kordiukov (1953–2009), a prominent Soviet interdisciplinary artist, will be presented for the first time at Paper Positions Berlin 2025. The presentation includes key series spanning from the late 1990s to the 2000s, demonstrating Kordiukov’s deep material sensitivity, formal clarity, and poetic visual language. Curated by Anna Galeeva in collaboration with FLASH ART Gallery (Tallinn, Estonia), the booth features five thematic groups.
