Jinwei Zhang

Jinwei Zhang - a Mixed-media artist

Jinwei Zhang was born on December 6, 1989, in China. He lives and works in Berlin, Germany. He received his education at Nanyang Junior College in Singapore (1999), Ashfield College in Nottinghamshire, England (2002), and the Russian Academy of Arts (2010–2016). Solo exhibitions include "Eschatological Fugue" at Station hall, Cultural Quarter "Brusnitsyn," St. Petersburg (2022) and "The Golden Spinning Wheel" at Zimmer 48 Gallery, Berlin, Germany (2024). Participated in group exhibitions such as "Overcoming" at Manege Central Exhibition Hall, St. Petersburg (2018), "Gamma Festival 2019" in St. Petersburg, "Levels" at Stepan Rasin Brewery, St. Petersburg (2019), and "Tokyo Herbarium" at Peter's the Great Botanical Garden, St. Petersburg (2019). Participated in the "Samfair" fair in Saint Petersburg, Russia (2019).
