In summer 2024, Vladimir Kordiukov took part in DU BIST AM ZUG, a Berlin public art project that turned advertising spaces across the city into an open gallery. Around 2,000 City Light poster spaces were made available for works and personal messages submitted by Berlin residents. The posters were displayed throughout July and August, bringing individual contributions into the everyday urban landscape.
Kordiukov participated with a work accompanied by the phrase: “Reg dich nicht auf über Sachen die du eh nicht ändern kannst” - “Don’t get upset about things you cannot change.” The statement was presented alongside his name in the project’s official online gallery.
The project was conceived without a competition or predefined artistic theme. Its purpose was to give people an equal opportunity to place their own images and words in the public space. The resulting posters ranged from artworks and photographs to poems, personal stories and short messages.
