Darina Komorowski - Contemporary artist

Born in Kazakhstan and currently based in the UAE, she creates paintings that invite viewers into deeply personal yet universally resonant inner landscapes. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Design from the Faculty of Art and Graphics at Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University (2013–2018), where she mastered both classical techniques and modern design approaches. Her artistic vision is further enriched by her background in psychology, adding depth, meaning, and emotional resonance to each piece. From 2016 to 2021, Darina conducted art workshops and painting classes, sharing her expertise in acrylic, oil, and mixed media techniques with students of all levels. She has also completed numerous commissioned projects, creating large-scale murals and wall paintings for restaurants, hospitals, private residences, and commercial spaces, integrating art into both public and intimate environments.

Her works have been exhibited in prestigious venues such as the A. Kasteyev State Museum of Arts and the University Museum of Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Today, her paintings are held in private collections across Kazakhstan, UAE, Turkey, Poland, and other international locations
